Recently, I had stumbled across a platform called, AirSend. AirSend is a simple and easy-to-use collaboration/community tool. Since my food blog was doing well, I figured it was high time I started a community. I had previously tried Discord, but for me, the UI was too game-oriented. Of course, it is a platform designed for gamers, so I’m not sure what I was expecting. But after trying out Discord, I realized I wanted something cleaner and simpler to use.

I have been using AirSend now for a couple of weeks, and I figured I would write a review about them.

It is always hard trying to separate your personal time from your work time, especially when both areas are located in one place: your home. Working from home is not always an easy adjustment. Especially, after having worked in an office for a good chunk of your life. Some say that working from home is much easier than working from an office and vice versa.

Often people who have never worked from home before, ask, “how can I be productive at home?” Or, “why am I having a difficult time adjusting to a work from home life?” …

Greetings fellow readers! I am here to write to you all to explain why you should dive into the world of wonders. The best part of all is that exploring a universe has never been easier. Sure, there was once a time when we had to actually travel the world to explore, but it’s the 21st century now. We have new technological mediums to do that for us.

Not to say of course the once-great explorers are lame, but would you rather discover the curiosities of the universe through a podcast and a comfortable environment, or hop on a plane…

**Note: This article is directed towards students in school, however, it can also be applied for non-students as well. I’m sure we have all heard the term “senioritis” back in high school, and, yes, it is very much a real thing, however, much to people’s dismay the only “cure” for senioritis is confidence, motivation, fear (in moderation), and of course knowledge. All seniors in colleges are aware of the pressures of landing a professional job after graduation, however, there is the unspoken fear of how and where to look for jobs after graduation. That is where…

Let’s first define what a you-centered business style is. According to Eward-Magione, a you-centered business style:

A you-centered business style employs your view and an audience-centered tone to choose particular words and adopt a targeted tone in a message.

The “you view” analyzes and emphasizes the reader’s interests and perspectives. Because the reader’s interest or benefit is stressed, the writer is more likely to help the reader understand information or act on a request. Adopting your view often, but not always, involves using the words you or your rather than we, our, I, and…

Before we begin talking about personal branding, let’s discuss rhetoric. Rhetoric is defined as the art of effective or persuasive speaking or writing, especially the use of figures of speech and other compositional techniques. With that being said, personal branding is all about persuasive speaking/writing and who you stand for as a person. Confusing, I know. Let me break it down.

Personal branding is defined as attributes that are unique to you. Personal branding is extremely important when making a name for yourself in the professional industry because in addition to clearly stating who…
